May 27, 2009: Interview with George Pierce

I had the pleasure to interview George Pierce, Managing Director, Venture Catalyst, ARAN Strategic Finance. On George’s website it states that “we get things done and don't waste people's time.”  George obviously lives by that, not only in his business but also in his life.  His interview gave us the answers we wanted and didn’t waste our time.  Check out his site, www.vcatalyst.net

Roe:  Why did you choose to be an entrepreneur?

George: It chose me.

Roe:  What has been the toughest experience so far?

George: Getting timing, team and idea to come together

Roe:  What are the perks or what have you enjoyed about being an entrepreneur?

George:  Working with smart, driven, passionate people wanting to make a difference    and change things for the better in this world!

Roe:  What is your business venture (elevator pitch)?

George:  I have been working with CEO's for 10 years and continue to do so.

Roe:  What are you looking for (funding, people, services)?

George: Working on a Series A for a company in RFID/software SaaS for tracking vehicles, people, lab equipment, and food to start preventing industry losses and needless finger pointing.
