Listed below are some great resources for current or future Tri-Valley entrepreneurs.  They provide a wealth of information and are very encouraging to small business. 

Alliance for Community Development:
A non-profit organization to develop a venture capital fund that would invest equity in businesses in underserved communities and industries.

Cisco Systems San Jose Entrepreneur Center:
A partnership between Cisco Systems, the City of San Jose, national corporations, and non-profit organizations, providing support services, programs, training and more.

The East Bay Economic Development Alliance:
A public/private partnership seeking to establish the San Francisco East Bay as a world-recognized location to grow businesses, attract capital, and create quality jobs.

East Bay Works:
A joint venture of public entities, non-profit agencies, and private organizations in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory:
This national security laboratory purchases a broad range of products and services from large and small businesses and supports business opportunities and technology transfer.

Sandia National Laboratories:
This government research and development laboratory connects with private industry for purchasing goods and services, and transferring technology.

Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE):
This nonprofit association in Northern California helps early stage entrepreneurs across all technology sectors to build successful companies.

Tri-Valley Business Council:
The council seeks to preserve and promote the region's quality of life and economic vitality and diversity.

Tri-Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau:
Includes Dublin, Danville, Livermore, Pleasanton, and San Ramon.

The cities and chamber of commerce also provide great resources.  Apply for licenses, permits, taxes, contracting opportunities, public records, links, and more.
